Good news for Italy: Its consumer confidence index rose to 98.3 in September from an eight-month low of 96.1 in August, reports the Wall Street Journal.
The sub-index of personal confidence rose to 96.3 from 93.8, while the sub-index of current climate rose to 99.0 from 96.3, according to data from the National Institute of Statistics.
Meanwhile, the economic climate sub-index rose to 103.9 from 102.3, while the future climate sub-index went up to 97.4 from 95.7 in the preceding month.
