New York City is planning to hold its biggest-ever climate change conference in 2023, and the theme this year is "Driving a Clean Energy Future."
The conference, organized by the UN and the city, will bring together more than 1,000 CEOs and government officials from around the world to discuss solutions to climate change, Mashable reports.
"We know we have the solutions to the climate crisis.
But how do we ensure they are implemented?" the conference's organizer asks in a press release.
"The available technology and software needed to help drive companies, governments, and organizations to their net zero goals is here."
The conference will focus on three main areas: green technology, energy, and climate change policy.
"We have made huge strides evidenced by the billions committed by the US, China, and the EU boost green technology and energy security," the conference organizer says.
