There's a new way to invest in the world, and it involves putting your money where your mouth is.
In a new video, 3Bank's CEO Vladimir Vukotic and fund manager Tim Crijns explain how the Serbian bank is making investments that have a "social and environmental impact," the Guardian reports.
The bank, which has more than $12 billion in assets, provides loans to people in poor countries who want to make improvements to their homes or businesses, such as installing solar panels or boosting insulation.
"We're proof that impact investing doesn't have a 100% investment portfolio," says Crijns.
"We're proof that you can have 100% investment duty across asset classes, not just private debt."
The video was created by Impact Partners, a fund that aims to invest in companies that "drive the environment AND social change," according to its website.
"We look at the return in every investment decision we take," says Crijns.
"For us, that means prosperous return."
